Just stumbled on to the @wibiya toolbar. Looks like really cool way for me to integrate Twitter/FB with @40AcresSports site.

Checking out the new #twitter followers/following pages. Like it but wish there was a way to change items per page in list view.

40AcresSports Twitter background finally added

Had a ton of fun and success doing live coverage of the Texas Longhorns’ run in the 2009 College World Series on Twitter over at 40 Acres Sports. Despite being a sports blog run by a web designer/developer and having a nice looking website, we were still rockin’ the default background on the @40AcresSports page up until a week ago. I finally took the 20 minutes needed to replicate the background image from the site and produce a version for the Twitter background. I will probably add more information to the left side soon (especially when we add more tweeters using CoTweet) but some long overdue branding is finally in place.
We covered the entire series starting with the epic CWS Regionals in Austin (including a 25-inning game) and ending when the Horns fell up just short in the championship series. Posted hundreds of tweets in just a couple of weeks, connected with tons of Texas fans, and added over 400 real followers during the series. Live sports coverage is definitely one of the best things about Twitter and an article on its impact on sports communities and live blogging will be worthwhile.

Checking out @cotweet thanks to my newly received beta invite. Should be perfect for @40acressports account with multi writers/tweeters.

Not sure how, but for some reason #Twitter some times list @40acressports update count with a comma, others without. Weird.
